Working draft, not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This page describes how Diwaan works in its first pilot, by invitation. It will be replaced by reviewed text, and account owners will be told when that happens.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Diwaan also uses similar browser storage on tills, so they can keep selling offline.
What we use
| Purpose | Example | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Signing in | Keeps you signed in and protects your session | No, Diwaan cannot work without it |
| Offline selling | Stores unsynced records on a till until they reach the server | No, while the device is used as a till |
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let other companies track you on our website or in the product.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking sign-in cookies will sign you out. Do not clear browser data on a till while it shows unsynced records, or those records may be lost.
